Adi Mechanical Fabrication & Welding Apprentice
Working alongside our skilled and experienced staff to gain the required skills, whilst working towards a nationally recognised Technical and National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) qualification. The adi Apprentice Academy provides a tailored development programme and network with other apprentices within the business.
All apprentices are offered a wide range of work place experience and our Apprentice Academy is designed to fully support the learner throughout the duration of the apprenticeship training programme to become a highly capable, skilled and valued member of our work force.
About the Role
You'll work in a busy department and complete tasks like welding, small fabrication, and other associated works. Your main responsibility is to ensure that all activities are performed in line with Quality Plans, Specifications, company policies, UK Regulations, and Client requirements.
Specifically, your key responsibilities will include:
1. TIG / MIG Welding
2. Fabricate parts from drawings
3. Unloading deliveries and storing them in correct locations
4. Prepare parts for welding
5. Changing & dressing grinding wheels
6. Assist the site services Manager as required
7. Health and Safety Compliance
About you
We would like to hear from you if you have:
8. A Grade 4 or above in both Maths and English GCSE’s.
9. A strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
10. Good communication skills
11. Practical awareness skills
12. Are professional and detail-oriented
