Responsibilities
* Deliver highest quality financial and administrative support to ensure staff and students receive best possible service at BCU libraries.
* Lead monitoring and oversight of the L&LR budget, improving services, modernising systems and technology.
* Manage a significant financial budget, liaising closely with the Finance department, providing accurate information, explaining variances and forecasting.
* Approve requisitions and purchase card purchases, track Open POs, invoices on hold, recharge reports and maintain accurate financial information for L&R.
* Oversee general administrative functions, including managing audits and key supplies.
Qualifications
* Financial and administrative skills with experience in budget management.
* Strong communication and coordination skills, able to liaise with Finance and other departments.
* Attention to detail and ability to multitask efficiently.
* Previous experience in a similar role is desirable.
* Applicants with prior LGPS membership who wish to enter the LGPS scheme will be employed by Birmingham City University directly.
