About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Agent to manage the technical compliance and delivery of a major infrastructure project within a highly regulated, live operational environment.
You will take responsibility for ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, to specification, and within commercial targets. This role requires strong leadership capability, commercial awareness, and experience managing reinforced concrete and civil engineering works.
Due to the sensitive nature of the site, BPSS security clearance is required (this process can take up to 8 weeks). Further SC clearance will also be required.
Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must be British Nationals.
Key Responsibilities
Programming works and managing commercial performance to meet project objectives
Ensuring effective utilisation of labour, plant, materials, and supply chain resources
Taking full ownership and accountability for profit and loss within your section
Managing financial forecasts, cost and value reconciliation, and commercial reviews
Monitoring and recording delivery against programme and construction methods
Identifying risks and implementing mitigation measures to minimise programme impacts
Ensuring works are delivered in accordance with specification and quality standards
Supporting implementation and monitoring of Health, Safety and Environmental policies
Leading, supervising and mentoring engineering and site teams
Ensuring engineering works are accurately and clearly set out prior to commencement
Maintaining accurate records of labour, plant, materials, and subcontractors
Assisting with monthly and quarterly commercial forecasting and reporting
Maintaining strong working relationships with stakeholders, delivery teams, and supply chain
Ensuring sufficient resources are procured and available in line with programme requirements
What We're Looking For
Relevant qualification (Management qualification / NVQ Level 3 / HNC / Degree)
SSSTS or SMSTS
Experience working with reinforced concrete and civil engineering projects
Experience managing engineering teams and technical delivery
Strong commercial awareness and understanding of cost control processes
Familiar with Quality Management Systems and RAMS preparation
Strong leadership and organisational skills
Experience managing client interfaces and project delivery

Experience in reinforced concrete structures
Experience working in highly regulated environments
