We are currently looking for Class 1 Milk Reload Drivers to join our Milk Operations team, based out of Preston, with opportunities to work either dayshift or nightshift on a 4on 4off shift pattern.

Dayshift Salary = £33,954.41 per annum (including meal allowance*)
Nightshift Salary = £37,054.71 per annum (including meal allowance*)

*Non-taxable meal allowance of £1873 included in above salaries detailed. Meal allowance is payable when in attendance at work.
Responsibilities
Delivering a professional and efficient driving service within our Milk operations team, delivering milk to dairies throughout England, Wales and Scotland from our depots in Cumbria and Lancashire on milk reload tankers.
Following procedures for activities associated with milk collection and delivery to dairies.
Following procedures for relevant sampling and checks in line with food safety.
Working as part of a team, providing a professional service to our customers.
Keeping in regular contact with office team for updates on status and progress to support in managing customers expectations.
Cross cover of work within other areas of the business as required.
Requirements
Hold a valid UK Class 1 licence.
Hold a current DCPC card and digital tachograph card.
Experience and knowledge of the milk haulage industry is preferred, but not essential.
Ability to work unsupervised, or as part of a wider team, and be able to use your own initiative
To be successful in this role you will be a real team player, demonstrating excellent customer service skills and good geographical knowledge.
