Location: Glasgow, G1 3DNRole Type: 30 hours per week, Mon-Thurs 07:00-15:00Hours: 30 hours per weekSalary:£13.45 per hour plus Sodexo benefitsPurpose of the RoleWe are looking for a Hospitality &Cleaning Operative to deliver day-to-day Hospitality and Cleaning services across thesite.The key focus of this role is to ensure all services are delivered confidently, efficiently, and in a timely manner — with minimal disruption to customers.Key ResponsibilitiesTo assist as directed with all aspects of delivery and presentation to the Company's standards.To provide an efficient and friendly service to customers in all areas of the catering & cleaning departmentTo ensure that food is presented and served in a clean, hygienic environment.To assist at service times by serving the customer at the counter as directed to the Company's standard.To communicate well with customers and always demonstrate a helpful attitude.To undertake all aspects in cleaning equipment: walls up to 6ft, floors, fixtures, fittings, catering equipment, cutlery, crockery, glassware etc., to the Company's standard according to the cleaning rota or as directedTo prepare and deliver hospitality.Washing & polishing of glasses in the bar area ready for functionsShift flexibility to support evening functionsManual handling of tables and chairs to set up facilities ready for functions.Comply and complete with all FS, Allergen and H&S due diligence.Fill and clean coffee machines, record on service cards.Check deliveries and temperatures on delivery.To assist with site store deliveriesAccountabilitiesDeliver exceptional customer and client service.Maintain compliance with food safety and H&S standards.Contribute positively to team performance.Support continuous improvement in service quality.Person SpecificationPrevious food handling experience preferred.Strong customer service and communication skills.Good understanding of Health & Safety practices.High standards of personal hygiene and presentation.Reliable team player with a flexible approach to work.Why Sodexo?Working with Sodexo is more than a job; it's a chance to be part of something greater.Belongin a company and team that values you for you.
