PR Account Executive
Location: Southampton, Birmingham or Bristol
Working Pattern: Full time, hybrid working (3 days in office, 2 days flexible)

Responsibilities
* Play a crucial role in the delivery of PR campaigns for your clients including developing compelling press releases, landing media coverage, engaging with influencers, and delivering social media campaigns.
* Manage media relations activities, including media monitoring, trends analysis, opportunity-spotting and media liaison.
* Draft materials such as issue briefings or policy statements for public consultations and community engagement plans.
* Develop an understanding of the UK planning process.
* Build and manage media and forward feature lists and recommend appropriate opportunities to target.
* Conduct effective media sell‑ins & identify most advantageous opportunities for client coverage.
* Communicate accurately and keep the team and client informed on progress in accordance with agreed processes, ensuring expectations are managed and any issues are escalated in a timely fashion.
* Organise client meetings, helping to prepare agendas and share follow‑up actions.
* Deliver accurate written communications and can write a range of copy including press releases, quotes, emails, status & contact reports, social media materials.
* Manage departmental administration and support the team, ensuring internal processes are followed.
* Build and manage top‑tier media relationships.
* Assist in the new business process including participating in brainstorm meetings, research and proposal preparation.
