Position: NIHR Clinical Lecturer in General Practice.
Develop research and teaching within the Faculty of Medicine, University of Southampton. This post is aligned to the NIHR research theme 'Primary care and community care'.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and conduct research in general practice.
* Teach within the Faculty of Medicine.
* Work in a multidisciplinary, multi-professional team.
* Maintain clinical commitments as a salaried or self-employed GP at a local primary care practice.
Qualifications
* Higher research degree (or submitted for such a degree).
* Appropriate research experience in primary care.
* Evidence of completion of training in Primary Care.
* Substantial experience in relevant research areas.
* Proven track record of high-quality original research publications.
* Ability to work well in a multidisciplinary, multi-professional team.
A satisfactory Criminal Records Bureau disclosure at Enhanced level is required.
