Contract: Full-time, Permanent Location: Market Harborough Salary: £38k-£40k (DOE) Hours: Monday–Thursday 8am-4.30pm / Friday 8am–3.15pm (flexibility considered) We’re recruiting on behalf of an established, growing manufacturing business that is investing in its brand and marketing function. This is a rare opportunity for a Marketing Manager who wants real creative ownership and the autonomy to drive marketing activity from concept to delivery. This is a hands-on, standalone role, working closely with the senior leadership team but with the freedom to shape content, strategy and brand direction. The role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, is confident creating content, and thrives in a friendly, down‑to‑earth environment. Key Responsibilities: Plan, create and manage content across Instagram, LinkedIn and internal social channels Capture photos and videos on-site to produce authentic reels, posts and short-form content Oversee community engagement and ensure brand tone is consistent, warm and approachable Keep the website updated and fresh Write engaging copy and ensure the brand voice is consistent across all pages Act as the brand guardian across the business Produce marketing materials, such as brochures, graphics and internal collateral using Canva or similar tools Develop internal comms including posters, employee updates and digital screen content Manage and deliver internal events and company social activities that help strengthen culture Attend industry events, awards evenings and networking socials (mainly London-based) Build relationships with clients and stakeholders All travel and expenses are fully covered Use Canva for design (required) Comfortable using or introducing social scheduling tools Work with simple planning tools (e.g., Excel) as part of the current process Essential Skills and Attributes We’re Looking For: Minimum 3 years’ experience in a marketing role Strong, demonstrable experience in content creation (reels, graphics, social posts) Excellent writing skills and strong attention to detail, especially tone of voice Ability to work independently, manage time effectively and self-direct Confident communicating with different personality types and building rapport quickly Friendly, engaging and proactive Creative thinker with a practical, hands-on approach Comfortable balancing strategy with day-to-day delivery Down‑to‑earth and able to get involved in team initiatives and occasional low‑glamour tasks that support internal culture Benefits: Early finish every Friday Flexible working options for the right person Fully funded travel and accommodation for networking events Supportive and friendly working environment Long‑term progression opportunity to evolve into a Head of Marketing role as the department grows
