Key Responsibilities
* Oversee day-to-day financial operations including budgeting, payroll, and reporting.
* Prepare monthly accounts, reconciliations, and financial analysis for SLT and Governors.
* Manage procurement, invoicing, and supplier relationships.
* Ensure compliance with financial regulations, audit requirements, and ESFA guidelines.
* Line-manage finance staff and coordinate training where required.
* Support strategic financial planning and resource allocation.
Requirements
* Experience in school finance or public-sector finance (highly desirable).
* Strong understanding of financial procedures and compliance.
* Proficiency in finance software and Microsoft Excel.
* AAT, ACCA, or CIPFA qualification (or working towards).
