We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar Manager to oversee bar operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and efficient service delivery. Role Overview
The Bar Manager will be responsible for managing the operations of all bars within the stadium, ensuring smooth service during Match Days and non-Match Day events. Leading a team of bar supervisors, staff, and casual workers, the Bar Manager will ensure top-notch service and adherence to health and safety standards, while also focusing on operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
* Operational Management: Ensure smooth and efficient bar service during all events.
* Team Leadership: Motivate and develop a team of bar staff, ensuring high service standards.
* Guest Experience: Provide excellent service, addressing customer queries and complaints promptly.
* Stock Control & Ordering: Manage inventory levels, placing orders and minimizing waste.
* Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to all health and safety regulations, including alcohol licensing laws.
* Financial Management: Oversee cash handling, till operations, and financial reporting. Work with the team to meet sales and profit targets.
* Training & Development: Provide training for bar staff, focusing on service standards, product knowledge, and health and safety.
* Event Coordination: Collaborate with the Events team to meet bar requirements for Match Days and events.
* Quality Control: Monitor product quality and ensure consistent service standards across all bars.

Key Skills & Experience
* Proven experience as a Bar Manager or similar role in a large venue or hospitality setting
* Strong leadership and people management skills
* Excellent customer service and guest experience focus
* Solid understanding of stock control, ordering, and inventory management
* Knowledge of health and safety regulations and alcohol licensing laws
* Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets and targets
* Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills
* Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and event days
* Experience in a stadium or high-profile event venue
* Personal license or willingness to obtain one
* Knowledge of Gross Profit (GP) and strategies for driving profitability
* Experience managing large beverage stocks and optimizing profitability
