The shift pattern for this post is 08:00-13:00 (Mon-Fri). The salary is Pro Rata for part-time hours.
The post holder is required to work as part of a team to deliver a quality service as directed by policies and procedures which are monitored by supervisory staff. Catering assistants will work between the kitchen, dining room, retail outlet and wards, providing patient meals (Breakfast, Lunch and Supper) based on regeneration at central points with ward-based service. They will also provide staff/visitor meals within the retail outlet, be involved in basic food preparation, assist with general cleaning, meal picking/packing and distribution functions, and monitor patient pantry provisions on the ward and clinical areas, replenishing where required.
