Job Description:
James Ray Recruitment are looking to appoint a highly skilled Teaching Assistant with experience of working with students with SEN in addition to mainstream pupils, to support within their setting.
You will need to hold GCSE qualifications in English and Mathematics as a minimum to apply and have recent and relevant experience working with children or adults with Special Educational Needs. You will have high expectations of work and behaviour; be able to work effectively in a team and be flexible, as well as being able to show initiative.

This role is due to start in September 2025 and offered on a full time basis to continue as per the needs of the school.
The Ideal Candidate:
* Be dynamic, enthusiastic and motivated
* Be able to develop positive relationships with children
* Be able to stay calm and objective when presented with unusual or challenging behaviour
* Have demonstrable experience of working with children or adults with SEN
* Be enthusiastic and committed to working as part of a team
* Be a confident and clear communicator with parents
* Teaching Assistant qualification level 2 as a minimum
* NQTS/ECTS or QTS can also apply
* Enhanced DBS Disclosure (or be happy to apply for one)
* Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
* Legal right to work in the UK
