Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
* Service, maintain, and repair a variety of vehicles, including VW and Renault models.
* Perform preventative maintenance checks and ensure all vehicles meet operational and safety standards.
* Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults efficiently.
* Work to set targets and deadlines to minimise vehicle downtime.
* Keep accurate maintenance records and report any major issues to the Transport Department.
* Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
* Assist with additional tasks as required, including overtime when necessary.
Key Skills & Experience:
* Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or similar role.
* Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
* Sound knowledge of various vehicle makes and models, including VW and Renault.
* Ability to work efficiently to targets and deadlines.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* A relevant qualification in vehicle maintenance (e.g., NVQ Level 3 or equivalent) is desirable.
* Full UK driving licence
