As a Vice President of Emerging Markets Derivative Structurer within our dynamic team, you will play a crucial role in structuring and executing derivative transactions. Collaborating closely with sales, trading, risk, and other control functions, your involvement will be key in promoting our derivative business. Your focus will primarily be on Rates and FX, including deal contingent derivatives, structured rates swaps, and corporate hedging solutions.
Job Responsibilities
* Act as a structurer in the CEEMEA Structuring team in London focusing on derivatives.
* Work closely in structuring and executing transactions with sales and origination teams across CEEMEA.
* Collaborate with a variety of clients, including Banks, Central Banks, Sovereigns, and Corporates.
* Work closely with Trading teams in Rates and Currencies and Emerging Markets.
* Cooperate with control functions such as Risk, Legal, Compliance, Accounting, Regulatory Capital, and Tax.
* Prepare deal term sheets, pricing models, and client presentations.
* Share derivative trade ideas on a pro-active basis for EM Clients
* Negotiate legal documentation and risk mitigants, and assist with booking and hedging.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
* In-depth understanding of derivative products and legal documentation (ISDA/CSA).
* Experience working in a deal team to tailor and deliver bespoke derivative solutions.
* Strong analytical and communication skills.
* Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
* Ability to develop a thorough understanding of our client base and business acumen.
* Familiarity with structured finance is beneficial.
* Experience in specific EM local rates / FX markets is a plus
This role encompasses the performance of UK regulated activity. The successful candidate will be subject to meeting UK regulatory requirements in the assessment of fitness, propriety, knowledge, and competence, and approval by the UK Financial Conduct Authority and/or the Prudential Regulation Authority.
