Responsibilities
* Providing tailored support to individual children or small groups, including those with special educational needs.
* Assisting in the delivery of interventions and learning strategies.
* Working closely with teachers to make sure every child gets the help they need.
* Encouraging and motivating children, helping them grow both academically and socially.
* Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to get the best results for the children.
Qualifications
* Someone with relevant qualifications (like NVQ L3 or equivalent) and experience supporting children with additional needs.
* A great understanding of how children learn and how assessment can help move their learning forward.
* Confidence in supporting children with different abilities, including those with communication challenges.
* The ability to work with children, adapt to their needs, and help manage their behaviour in a positive and supportive way.
* A team player who communicates well and has a genuine passion for helping children succeed.
