Accountant Milton Keynes (Hybrid Working) Full-time, Permanent £30,000 – £40,000 (depending on experience) The Role We are looking for a motivated Accountant to join our expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone currently working in a UK accountancy practice who is keen to build on their experience and develop their career further. You’ll work with a varied client portfolio, gain exposure to a wide range of responsibilities, and play a key role in maintaining strong client relationships. Key Responsibilities Client Management & Advisory * Act as a key point of contact for a portfolio of clients * Build and maintain strong client relationships * Provide proactive support and advice to clients Accounts & Tax * Prepare statutory accounts for a range of clients * Complete corporation tax and self-assessment tax returns * Prepare P11Ds and Capital Gains Tax reports * Produce monthly and quarterly management accounts General * Attend regular client meetings * Manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines * Ensure high standards of accuracy and compliance About You Qualifications * AAT qualified * Currently studying towards ACCA or ACA Experience * At least 2 years’ experience within a UK accountancy practice * Strong working knowledge of Xero or other cloud-based accounting software * Experience with Iris (desirable but not essential) Skills & Attributes * Highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities * Strong attention to detail and accuracy * Self-motivated with a proactive approach * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills What We Offer * Competitive salary (£30,000 – £40,000 DOE) * Hybrid working (3 days in the office, 2 from home) * Flexible working hours (flexitime scheme) * Study support package (after probation) * Company pension scheme * Private medical insurance * Health & wellbeing support programme * Enhanced maternity leave and sick pay * Bonus scheme * Free on-site parking * Clear career progression opportunities within a growing firm To apply for our Accountant vacancy, click Apply below
