This team leads strategic activities supporting the delivery of the MTP and aligns with Marketing & Commercial priorities that underpin the Consumer Strategy.

We serve as the primary contact for strategic matters within Marketing & Commercial, supporting leadership in making key decisions across distribution, propositions, pricing, and sales channel transformation. Operating like a consulting team, we collaborate with the business to define and resolve specific, time-bound questions. This role offers the opportunity to work across various products and channels, fostering skill and knowledge development. The team is responsible for:
* Defining long-term roles of our channels in distributing products across brands.
* Leading the strategy for long-term sales channel transformation, including digital distribution.
* Making decisions on structural propositional changes, collaborating with Tariffing and Pricing teams.
* Identifying new routes to market and building strategic partnerships.
* Enhancing performance through existing routes to market.
* Creating distribution strategies for new products and propositions.
* Supporting the Marketing & Commercial plan by analyzing and evaluating strategic opportunities and risks.
* Communicating overarching strategies to stakeholders and the wider organization.
* Advising on key cross-functional topics, working with the Consumer CEO Strategy team.
* Ensuring short-term decisions align with long-term strategy.
What you'll be doing
* Leading multiple strategy projects from inception to completion, often within a team of Strategy Managers.
* Partnering with leadership to define strategies and solve problems.
* Developing strategies with subject matter experts based on experience and logic.
* Creating presentations and briefing documents with clear narratives.
* Conducting detailed research and analysis.
* Using strategic frameworks to inform decisions.
* Presenting findings to senior stakeholders and influencing decision-making.
* Monitoring industry insights to identify best practices and opportunities/risks.
* Previous experience in strategy, consultancy, finance, or product management is preferred.
* Exceptional analytical skills and commercial acumen in a B2C environment.
* Strong self-awareness, commitment to personal growth, and ability to navigate ambiguity.
* Ownership of projects with the ability to manage timelines and work under tight deadlines.
* Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to create compelling data-driven presentations.
* Confidence in engaging with senior stakeholders, challenging and influencing effectively.
