Overview
Howdens Cookstown, Northern Ireland, United Kingdom – This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Depot Manager located in Cookstown. The Assistant Depot Manager will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing stock levels, leading and motivating the team, ensuring health and safety standards are met, and delivering excellent customer service. The role involves supporting the Depot Manager in achieving business targets and ensuring depot operates efficiently and effectively. The Assistant Depot Manager will also assist in implementing company initiatives and maintaining high standards of product availability and presentation.
Responsibilities
* Oversee daily depot operations and workflow to meet targets
* Manage stock levels, stock rotation, and inventory accuracy
* Lead, motivate, and develop the depot team
* Ensure health and safety standards are met and adhered to
* Deliver excellent customer service and resolve issues promptly
* Support the Depot Manager in achieving business targets and implementing company initiatives
* Maintain high standards of product availability and presentation
