Role: Senior Accounts Payable Specialist

The Accountancy & Finance Division at The ONE Group is partnering with a people-centric business in recruiting for an experienced Senior Accounts Payable Specialist. Key Responsibilities
* Process high volume of accounts payable invoices accurately in line with approval workflows
* Prepare and carry out payment runs
* Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies
* Maintain accurate accounts payable records and ledgers
* Support month end close activities, including reconciliations and journals
* Liaise with internal teams and external suppliers to resolve queries
* Monitor accounts payable ageing and ensure timely payments
* Assist with audit preparation and provide supporting documentation
Skills & Experience Required
* Experience in a high-volume accounts payable or finance role within a fast-paced environment
* Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail
* Proactive problem solver with a collaborative approach
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Working Model
Hybrid working with 3 days in the Northampton office and 2 days from home.
