Experienced Diabetes Prevention Dietitian – Lehrman Cameron Studio, LLC
Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the well-established dynamic Diabetes Prevention team within Hywel Dda, which holds a high profile both within the wider therapies team and across the Health Board. We fully support continuing professional development, appraisal and supervision and actively enable this with protected sessions in individualised job plans.
Key Responsibilities
* Delivery of Diabetes Prevention Dietetics: managing a varied and complex caseload, working as an integral member of the team, delegating to, and clinically supervising Dietitians, Health and Wellbeing Facilitators and students and working effectively as part of wider multidisciplinary teams.
* Quality assure Diabetes Prevention Programme clinics and Foodwise for Life programme delivery; assessing competency of nutrition knowledge, behaviour change and facilitation skills of staff, to meet the minimum quality standards.
* Complete relevant paperwork and communicate feedback to delivery staff, developing actions for improvement and standardisation across Hywel Dda UHB.
* Participate in quality improvement, clinical audit and development work, associated with Diabetes Prevention / Nutrition and Dietetics.
* Act as an advocate for Diabetes Prevention / Nutrition and Dietetics.
Qualifications and Experience
Existing interest and experience in diabetes prevention or a keen enthusiasm to use existing clinical skills in this area. Ability to supervise and manage teamwork, and bilingual capability in Welsh desirable but not mandatory. Familiarity with NHS healthcare services and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Hywel Dda University Health Board – serving people living in Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion, Pembrokeshire, and bordering counties.
