Northumberland (commutable from Newcastle and North Tyneside) £95 – £115 per day (PAYE) Full-Time | Immediate Start The Role As a Pastoral Support Assistant, you will: Support students with their wellbeing, behaviour, and engagement in school Work 1:1 and in small groups with pupils who need additional guidance Help students manage emotions, routines, and day-to-day challenges Provide support during lessons, as well as at key times like break and lunch Work closely with pastoral leads, SENCOs, and teaching staff Build strong, trusting relationships that help students feel safe and supported You’ll be a key part of the school’s pastoral team, helping students navigate school life with more confidence.
