Position: Sales Controller - Hinckley
Salary: £30,000 Basic + OTE £60,000
Hours: 42.5 per week
Summary
I am working with a rapidly expanding independent used car retailer with a strong presence in the Midlands. At their Hinckley location, they stock around 550-600 vehicles, all competitively priced and ready for immediate purchase, creating a high-volume, fast-paced showroom environment.
I am seeking a Sales Controller who can bring leadership and energy to an established team. This role is ideal for someone with a solid background in vehicle sales, a strong drive to meet targets, and the ability to support and motivate others. Key Skills
* Professional, approachable, and confident in customer interactions
* Highly organized, driven, and success-oriented
* Proactive, hands-on leadership—leading by example
* Experience in used car sales, preferably in a high-volume setting
* Proven experience managing or supervising a sales team
* FCA accreditation (or willingness to undertake training)
Responsibilities
* Create a positive, high-performing team environment
* Oversee deal performance and identify revenue opportunities
* Guide team members on closing techniques and value-added deals
* Manage the site as needed
* Ensure financial documents and processes meet standards
* Motivate the sales team to surpass targets
