Your new role:
As the first Fund Accounting specialist in our London office, you will play a pivotal role in establishing fund accounting frameworks and governance for our international operations. This includes:
Technical Accounting & UK GAAP Expertise
* Deliver fund-level and single-entity accounting reports and calculations under UK GAAP.
* Provide oversight on accounting due diligence for new funds and investment structures, ensuring alignment with tax, transaction, and operational requirements.
* Advise on valuations and governance for complex investment vehicles.
Fund Accounting Structures & Platforms
* Design and implement fund accounting structures, platforms, and processes to support multi-jurisdictional investments.
* Lead the development and enhancement of accounting policies for UK and US offices.
* Act as the key liaison for internal and external audits, ensuring robust controls and compliance.
Stakeholder Engagement
* Partner with global teams across Finance, Risk, Compliance, and Investments.
* Support the Head of International Finance with reporting for senior leadership committees and boards.
What you’ll bring
* Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
* Deep knowledge of UK GAAP and fund accounting principles.
* Proven experience in setting up fund structures and accounting platforms within asset management, private equity, or similar environments.
* Strong technical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage complex transactions.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Location: London King’s Cross Estate – one of the Fund’s core global assets – with a hybrid work schedule.
