School Caretaker - Ellesmere Port - Must hold enhanced DBS certificate
Pay: £14.75 per hour
People Dynamix Education are proud to be supporting a well-regarded school in Ellesmere Port in their search for a dedicated and reliable School Caretaker. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for pupils, staff, and visitors.
The Role
As the school caretaker, you will:
* Oversee the general maintenance and security of the school site.
* Carry out minor repairs, basic DIY tasks, and routine maintenance.
* Monitor and manage health & safety procedures, including fire safety and access control.
* Open and lock the premises as required.
* Support the school with setting up rooms and facilities for events.
What We're Looking For
* Previous caretaking, site management, or facilities experience preferred.
* Good practical skills (basic plumbing, carpentry, or electrical knowledge desirable).
* A proactive, hands-on approach and the ability to work independently.
* Reliability and a strong sense of responsibility towards the safety and upkeep of the school environment.
