We are looking for Band 5 nurses to join our district nursing teams and cover our 8 am‑8 pm, 7 days a week model.
Key responsibilities
* Provide clinical care to a defined population, working within the boundaries of your role and with senior practitioners.
* Team‑work and collaborative practice to meet patient needs, support policy and procedure delivery, and provide clinical leadership.
* Ensure the delivery of the quality strategy, establishing systems and processes in your area.
* Provide evidence‑based care in patients’ homes and make clinical decisions and problem‑solve as required.
* Escalate and report appropriately while working autonomously when necessary.
Qualifications & requirements
* Registered as a Band 5 nurse.
* Full driving licence.
* Excellent empathy, communication skills and a person‑centred approach.
* Clinical decision‑making and problem‑solving skills.
* Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
* Willingness to continue learning and develop competencies for evidence‑based care.
