You will be joining at an exciting stage as the company scales its work in Wales and the South West, bringing its proven quality and delivery focus to new landmark schemes
We are recruiting for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to take the commercial lead on a landmark £65m scheme in Cardiff. This is a major 2-year project comprising two buildings up to 18 storeys, delivered for an established repeat client. The project is currently at piling stage, offering the successful candidate the opportunity to take ownership from early delivery through to final account.
Key Responsibilities

Take full commercial responsibility for the entire £65m scheme
*
Manage and mentor an Assistant QS / PQS
*
Oversee procurement strategy and subcontract package management
*
Lead cost reporting, CVRs, forecasting and risk management
*
Manage subcontractor accounts from procurement through to final account
*
Work closely with the Project Director and site team to drive commercial performance
Key Requirements
*
Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor on large-scale residential, high-rise, or PBSA schemes or Quantity Surveyor looking for that next step in your career
*
Experience managing / working on projects £40m+ in value
*
Strong subcontract procurement and package management capability
*
Comfortable leading the commercial function on a standalone project
*
Experience managing or mentoring junior surveyors
