Overview
Job title: Commercial Procurement Logistics and Supplies Officer. The role oversees the efficient ordering, replenishment, receipting, storage/warehousing and distribution of clinical and non-clinical supplies across all BHRUT sites and North East London (NEL). It uses manual/physical, automated and vehicular handling, Automated Inventory Management Systems (AIMS) and other procurement processes in line with Just In Time (JIT) methodology. The post supports the Commercial Procurement Logistics and Supplies service on strategic and operational projects to maximise performance, governance and compliance, minimise risk and reduce costs. The role reports to the Commercial Procurement Logistics and Supplies Manager and may cover colleagues across Trust/NEL sites. Main duties
To support the Commercial Procurement Logistics and Supplies Manager in delivering a commercial procurement logistics and supplies service across all aspects of AIMS/Omnicell, in a supporting operational and administrative capacity.

Person Specification
Education/Qualifications (Essential):
* Educated to GCSE standard, specifically in English or equivalent qualifications.
* A valid manual driving licence (in accordance with BHRUT insurance requirements, internal policies and DVLA requirements) and ability to drive cars, small vans and large 3.5 tonne vans (Category B and future DVLA requirements).
Experience/Knowledge (Essential):
* Demonstrates a strong desire to improve performance and support transformational projects and programmes.
* Experience of working collaboratively across organisations.
* Experience of working with AIMS.
Skills/Abilities (Desirable):
* Good commercial procurement logistics and supplies skills, specifically across commercial procurement logistics and supplies service management.
