The Lamb is a 12th-century coaching inn with 18 beautiful boutique bedrooms, located in the idyllic postcard village of Hindon. What We Look for in a Sous Chef
We are seeking an existing Sous Chef or Senior CDP looking for their next step, who considers themselves a natural leader with a passion and flair for producing quality fresh food in a welcoming environment. As the successful Sous Chef, you will:
* Have experience championing excellent service through quality food
* Demonstrate passion for leading and developing a team
* Be an active, hands-on Chef with excellent communication skills
* Be responsible for managing the kitchen staff rota, training, and health and safety effectively
* Work alongside your Head Chef to design and deliver new dishes for menus and specials
* Show great planning and organizational skills to maintain effective controls regarding GP and labour
* Have a proactive approach to driving sales and growth through engagement with kitchen and front-of-house teams
