We're looking for a Compliance Analyst to join our Control Centre team and play a pivotal role in transforming complex compliance data into actionable insights that drive performance and continuous improvement. As a Compliance Analyst, you will provide essential analytical support to senior leaders, ensuring our compliance framework is robust, transparent, and aligned with industry regulations. You'll develop sophisticated models, produce high-quality reports, and craft compelling narratives that explain compliance performance to internal and external stakeholders. In this role, you will: Monitor and Analyse Compliance Performance through developing and maintaining analytical models to track compliance across Water and Water Recycling operations. Identify trends, patterns, and potential risks through detailed data analysis and develop dashboards and visual analytics tools for real-time performance visibility. Prepare regulatory submissions for bodies such as DWI, EA, and Defra. Maintain compliance databases and ensure data integrity/data security and confidentiality in line with company policies. Provide analytical support for compliance-related decisions and share best practices across analytical teams and support compliance improvement projects. What does it take to be a compliance analyst? Degree in an analytical discipline (Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, etc.). Minimum 3 years' experience in data analysis and reporting. Proficiency in statistical analysis tools (R, Python, SQL). Strong written communication and report-writing skills. Experience in regulatory reporting or compliance analytics. Desirable: Postgraduate qualification in data analytics or related field. Knowledge of water industry regulations and compliance requirements. Experience with data visualisation and dashboard development. Key Skills & Behaviours: Analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
