Offer description

Are you an experienced problem-solver with a passion for performance improvement and innovation?

We’re seeking a hands-on Continuous Improvement Specialist / Manager to lead Lean and CI initiatives across our entire value chain — from supply chain and production to back-office operations. This role is part of our direct sourcing strategy and will be managed entirely in-house.

🔍Role Objective:

To lead and coordinate continuous improvement (CI) activities across the full value stream – from production through to supply chain and back-office operations – by delivering impactful projects that improve quality, reduce cost and waste, and enhance line efficiency. This is a boots-on-the-ground role, working side-by-side with teams to embed sustainable process improvements.

🛠️Key Responsibilities:
* Design and implement Lean initiatives across the value chain using tools like VSM, A3 problem solving, and root cause analysis.
* Partner with production teams, managers, and functional leads to identify and deliver performance improvements in quality, material cost, and equipment efficiency.
* Take a business analyst approach to operational process flow, including back-office information streams.
* Lead projects to reduce material waste and equipment downtime.
* Contribute to global operational strategy – aligning fulfillment, sales, manufacturing, and supply chain.
* Deliver management- and board-level reports on CI activities and results.
* Ensure consistency and best-practice sharing across departments and international sites.
* Support Quality Engineering and NPI initiatives.
* Contribute to setting and delivering global CI targets within a 3-year strategy framework.

🎯What We’re Looking For:
* Degree-qualified, preferably in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent experience).
* Strong practical knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other CI methodologies.
* Proficient in advanced problem-solving techniques, including DOE and variation analysis.
* Excellent analytical and data interpretation skills with strong mathematical ability.
* Skilled in visual communication and able to influence stakeholders at all levels using clear, fact-based arguments.
* Ability to apply a modern, tech-forward approach to operations and manufacturing management.
* Prior experience in operational or production management is an advantage.
* Software development knowledge or experience is a plus.
* Experience in manufacturing is essential – complex LVHV (Low Volume High Variety) environments advantageous.
* Must be willing and able to travel internationally.

📌 Please note: only candidates who meet the person specification above will be contacted. We kindly ask all applicants to carefully review the requirements before applying.

🌟Why Join Us?
* Be at the heart of driving performance and transformation across a global manufacturing group.
* Lead meaningful projects with real, measurable outcomes.
* Help shape the future of operations.

🌍Our Core Values:

We are driven by five core values that shape our culture and decision-making:

* People – we empower and respect our teams.
* Integrity – we do what’s right, even when no one’s watching.
* Collaboration – we win together, not alone.
* Innovation – we challenge the norm to find better ways.
* Sustainability – we think long-term and take responsibility for our impact.

We're looking for someone who lives and breathes these values and will help champion them in everything we do.

❗Important Note on Recruitment:

This role is being recruited directly by our in-house team.

We are not accepting agency support at this time.

Any unsolicited approaches to our hiring manager or recruitment partners will be politely declined.

Ready to lead change and make an impact?
