Time for a chat? A cuppa and a favourite biscuit?
Home Instead is a great company to work for - we ensure our staff have time to build meaningful relationships with our clients. As the leading local provider of relationship-led care, rated Outstanding in all five areas by CQC, we carefully match caregivers to nearby clients, providing the highest quality of care to help our clients live safely, well, and independently at home. It also means having time to chat.
Job Description
We are looking for kind and caring individuals to join our caregiver team. We will match you with clients based on shared interests or hobbies. Our award-winning training includes two days at our local training centre, client introductions with a care manager, and up to three shadow visits with an experienced team member.
At Home Instead, we seek someone who can provide balanced care—both companionship and assistance with all aspects of person-centered care. You'll get to know your clients’ personalities, senses of humor, and interests. A full UK driving licence and access to your own car are required.
Qualifications
No experience is necessary; our ideal caregiver might be someone starting a new role with a positive attitude. Experience caring for family or in a care setting is a plus, but we provide comprehensive training so you can visit clients confidently. We value passion for caring for others, reliability, and professionalism. Most importantly, our clients appreciate caregivers who are happy to chat over a biscuit and a cuppa.
