Job Purpose • To receive terminals that have been returned from the field by various courier services. Book the terminals back into Remedy/TMS and pass to service and repair. Main Objectives & Activities • Check and sign for deliveries from couriers. • Unpack terminals and segregate packaging for recycling. • Book in terminals using the Remedy/TMS system. • Pass Swap and RMA terminals to Service and Repair • Pass Removal terminals to Production for refurbishment. • Control storage of “On Hold” and “Scrapped” terminals. • Maintain quality of Swap Packaging. • Train other members of staff when required and in accordance with your Skills as recorded on the Operations Skills Matrix. • To be responsible for the ownership for Quality of workmanship and that your output figures are met at all times to meet the daily demand. • To adhere to all of the Company’s Health and Safety Rules and Regulations. Required Knowledge & Experience • Personality – positive can-do attitude. Creative problem-solver. Able to work alone or as part of a team. • Specific job skills – planning, organising, supporting all areas of the business. • Computer skills – Microsoft office suite, Oracle, Remedy and other business required applications. • Literacy and numeracy – Able to demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively both internally and externally • Commercial skills – awareness of customer relationships and contracts• Education – A level or equivalent
