Job Description
* Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports for the Care & Support department.
* Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end financial processes.
* Conduct variance analysis to support decision-making and identify financial trends.
* Provide financial insights and recommendations to stakeholders within the organisation.
* Monitor income and expenditure to ensure alignment with organisational objectives.
* Support the implementation of financial controls and compliance processes.
* Assist in grant and funding applications with accurate financial data.
* Collaborate with other departments to achieve overall financial goals.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Management Accountant - Care & Support should have:
* A recognised accounting qualification (e.g. ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
* Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
* Knowledge of the Care & Support responsibilities within the Social housing sector and its financial requirements.
* Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Excel for financial analysis.
* Strong analytic skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to communicate financial insights clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
