The successful candidate will join a dynamic research group at the University of Glasgow, working under the guidance of Dr. Hanaa Abumarshoud. Candidate Profile
This Position Is Ideally Suited For Early-career Researchers With a Strong Background In Electrical Engineering, Wireless Communications, Optical Engineering, Or Related Fields. Applicants Should Possess
– A PhD (or equivalent professional qualifications and experience) in a relevant discipline.
– Specialist theoretical and practical knowledge in information theory, optimisation theory, physical layer design, machine learning, and their applications to wireless communications.
– Expert proficiency in simulation development tools such as MATLAB.
– Excellent programming, algorithm development, and mathematical modelling skills.
– A proven track record of research output, including publications in high-quality journals and presentations at international conferences.
– Strong communication, teamwork, and leadership abilities.
– Experience in design, simulation, evaluation, and optimisation of wireless communication systems.
– Commitment to open research practices and collegiality.
