Programmeoverview:

This two-year programme is designed to empower you to become a future Hastings leader.Through a mix of practical experience, professionaldevelopmentand mentoring,you’llgain the skills and confidence to support people strategies andhave a real impact for our colleagues, customers,companyand community.

This programme offers exposure to a variety of HR functions, giving you a broad understanding of how HR shapes organisational performance.You’llhave theopportunity to undertake several rotations across our various departments including:

1. Recruitment
2. Employee Relations
3. HR Operations
4. HR Systems and Data
5. Reward
6. Communications, PR & Engagement
7. Organisational Development & Learning
8. Talent and DE&I
9. Change

Requirements:

10. A degree in any discipline pending in 2026 or achieved within the last 2 years
11. Experience working in a customer service rolewith acan-doapproach
12. People motivated with strong attention to detail
13. Ability to useinformation effectively
14. Ambition, curious anddriven

Unfortunately, we cannot offer visa sponsorship for our graduate programmes, meaning you will need to be able to prove you have right to work in the UK for the full 2-year duration of the programme to be eligible.

As an organisation, we embrace the use of AI as a powerful tool to support our data‑driven ambitions and enhance the way we work. The use of AI tools to help prepare your CV and cover letter ispermitted. However, during the assessment process, it is a requirement that all work be completed independently, without AIassistance. This ensures that we can fairly evaluate each applicant’s own traits, knowledge, skills, and abilities.It’sall about getting to know you.

Whatwe’lldo:

15. 15thDec 2026 - Applications open: we will send you a link to complete psychometric testing via Harver
16. 25thJan 2026 - Applications close
17. 6th– 22ndFeb 2026 - If successful in testing, we will send you a link to complete anadditionalvideo interview
18. 5thMar 2026 - If successful, we will invite you to an Assessment Centre
19. 12th Mar 2026 - In-Person Assessment Centres in Leicester

Reward:

20. Salary -Starting salary will be £33,000 with an increase to be put in place upon completion of year one of the programme.
