Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate to join our team of Estates and Facilities Cleaners, providing a cleaning service across the college to maintain our fantastic campus and create a positive student experience.
Estates and Facilities Cleaner
Salary: GBP 14,430 (GBP 23,089 FTE)
Working Pattern: Monday, Tuesday and Friday - 7am to 3pm, 22.5 hrs per week
You will provide a professional cleaning service, including the cleaning of the college's residential accommodation areas, that creates a clean, cared-for space for students and the college community.
Key Responsibilities
Key Duties include:
* Provision of a professional cleaning service to, in principle, the residential accommodation areas of the College.
* Cleaning of communal areas and the wider campus, using where appropriate the necessary powered cleaning equipment.
* Changing of bed linen in accommodation areas.
* The provision of a response based cleaning/sanitising service as may be required from time to time.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
* Ability to clean to a high quality standard within required deadlines
* Experience of cleaning in a business environment
* Experience of working effectively as part of a team
* Knowledge and understanding of Health and Safety and procedures relating to Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH)
* Basic digital skills and the ability to use Microsoft applications for communication
