Location & Hours
Location: Penrith, Cumbria - some remote working options available, but travel to the office is required.
Hours: Permanent Full-time, 39 hours per week. We offer flexibility on hours—just let us know what works for you!

Your Responsibilities
As a Maintenance Manager at Kier, you will be at the forefront of coordinating maintenance services across the Area 13 network, covering Cumbria and North Lancashire. Your daily tasks will include:
* Planning and supervising maintenance operations, coordinating both in-house teams and supply chain partners.
* Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external clients through effective communication.
* Efficiently managing resources, including materials, labor, vehicles, and equipment.
* Ensuring all maintenance works meet Sector Scheme 18 standards and safety requirements.
* Creating an inclusive workplace where team well-being and diverse perspectives are valued.
What We’re Looking For
This role is perfect for you if you:
* Have proven experience delivering maintenance and soft estate works in line with Sector Scheme 18 standards.
* Possess a strong background in maintenance projects across motorways and high-speed road networks.
* Demonstrate excellent communication skills with the ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams.
* Hold a full driving license.
