Due to continued growth, our client is looking for an experienced Panel Technician (Level 3 Qualified) to join their professional and modern repair centre.This role is ideal for a skilled bodyshop technician with strong panel repair and MET experience who takes pride in high-quality vehicle repairs and working to manufacturer and insurance standards.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out panel repairs to manufacturer and insurer standardsComplete structural and non-structural repairs, including chassis alignmentPerform full MET duties (strip and refit) following job cards and repair plansUndertake welding operations (MIG/MAG, spot welding, bonding) in line with certified proceduresAccurately assess vehicle damage and apply approved repair techniquesWork closely with estimators, painters, and workshop controllersEnsure repairs meet BSI, Thatcham, and insurance approval standardsMaintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environmentComplete all job documentation accurately and on timeEssential RequirementsNVQ / IMI Level 3 in Vehicle Accident Repair - PanelNVQ / IMI Level 3 MET (Mechanical, Electrical & Trim)Certified Welding Qualification (valid certificate required)Proven experience in a busy bodyshop or accident repair centreStrong knowledge of modern vehicle construction (steel, aluminium, bonded panels)Ability to work independently and as part of a teamDesirable (Not Essential)Experience working on insurance-approved repairsADAS awareness and repair considerationsKnowledge of manufacturer repair methodsATA AccreditationSkills & AttributesHigh attention to detail and pride in workmanshipAbility to meet deadlines without compromising repair qualityStrong problem-solving skillsExcellent time managementPositive attitude and professional work ethicWhat's in It for YouCompetitive salary based on experience and qualificationsPermanent, full-time roleModern, well-equipped bodyshopSteady workflow from insurance and fleet workOpportunities for progression within a growing repair groupSupportive and professional working environmentWorking HoursMonday to FridayOvertime availableINDWOL1
