We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. Responsibilities
* Assist residents or clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
* Support individuals with mobility and daily activities, promoting independence where possible
* Follow personalised care plans to meet the specific needs of each individual
* Maintain accurate records of care provided and any changes in condition
* Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members to ensure coordinated care
* Support with medication administration as directed by healthcare professionals
* Ensure the safety and well-being of all individuals under your care at all times
* Assist with light domestic duties to maintain a clean and comfortable environment
* Maintain compliance with training
Requirements
* Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided
* Valid driving licence is preferred to facilitate travel between locations or for home visits
* Access to own vehicle
* Business insurance or willingness to obtain
* Good organisational skills to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently
* Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
* Basic IT skills to update records and access relevant documentation
* Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to support others' wellbeing
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required
