Job Duties:
* Prepare and oversee the preparation of the Indian dishes in the kitchen.
* Must have a good understanding of ingredients/spices used in the curry and tandoor dishes
* Prepare a range of Curry and tandoor dishes using the traditional techniques, herbs and spices.
* Must have proven track record of producing quality, authentic Indian dishes.
* Ability to work quickly whilst maintaining high standards.
* Assist in the menu planning, prepares, seasons, cook dishes, oversees preparation and monitors the quality of finished dishes;
* Ensures relevant hygiene and health and safety standards are maintained within the kitchen;
* Restock items when required and maintain stock levels as required.
* Advise on new dishes for the menu.
* Examine new purchases and food stuff to ensure quality.
* Supervises, organises and instructs junior kitchen staff and manages the Indian section of the kitchen;

Experience requirements:
* Experience in cooking a range of traditional Curry and Tandoor is essential
* Must have at least 3-4 years experience working in a similar or higher role.
