Job Description


SCOPE OF POSITION

A commis Sommelier will be responsible for assisting the day-to-day wine service of the restaurant in the brand's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing your tasks to the highest standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES (OR AREAS OF RESPONSIBLITIES FOR SENIOR POSITIONS)

Operation

* Knowledge of menu and all products.
* Deliver beverages to customers’ tables rapidly and accurately.
* Assist the Sommelier team with table setting by fetching and placing appropriate tableware and glassware.
* Ensure food and beverage items are served in accordance with safety standards
* Constantly seeking to improve wine knowledge.
* Inform restaurant staff about customers’ feedback or requests.
* Performs other duties as required or assigned including working in a different department or restaurant, than usually assigned.
