Job title: Project Management Apprentice

Location: Preston

Salary: Starting from £23,000 with annual progression through the scheme duration

What you’ll be doing:

During this 5-year programme you will learn the knowledge required to successfully manage our complex projects and programmes.

You will develop leadership and change management skills, understanding how to utilise project management tools, methods and developing strategic plans.

You’ll learn how to manage budgets, schedules, risks and resources, applying project governance and tools.

Opportunities could include facilitating project performance reviews, understanding project control checks, and undertaking effective RAID (risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies) management across continuous improvement portfolios.

Alongside technical knowledge, you’ll build communication, problem-solving and decision-making skills with behaviours focussed on professionalism, adaptability and accountability.

What Qualification Will You Get?

Project Manager (Integrated Degree, BSc Hons in Project Management) Level 6.

The Project Management Degree Apprenticeship is delivered by the University of Cumbria which is held on campus at Lancaster University with a mixture of in person attendance and online delivery sessions.

Qualification requirements

5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade 9-4 / A*-C which must include Maths & English AND 96 UCAS Points (or equivalent) (excluding UCAS points gained at AS level)
