HomeServe are currently recruiting for an experienced Product Manager to join the Marketing & Product Team in Walsall. The ideal candidate will have an exceptional attention to detail, strong written and verbal communication skills and a good understanding of working in insurance or a financially regulated business. We work in a hybrid way, mostly remote with a requirement to travel into our Walsall office at least twice a week to work with the team. With that in mind you will be located within a convenient commute to Walsall. The Team is focussed on delivering excellent customer outcomes, value and new customer growth across Product; Customer Communications; Acquisition & Growth and Digital Delivery The Product department’s purpose is to proactively manage the performance and development of existing and future products, driving value for HomeServe and our customers while ensuring the delivery of excellent customer outcomes. The department is made up of 4 broad areas - Product Management & Governance; Product Implementation, Proposition Management and Product & Service Communication. You will be responsible for supporting the development and management of existing and new products. The role will collaborate closely with teams across the business to oversee the end-to-end product life cycle, ensuring they deliver fair value, perform as consumers reasonably expect, aligns with market trends and meets evolving customer needs. This includes; Proactively reviewing product performance Implementing Innovation and change Action product amendments based on insights Managing initiatives to improve the customer experience Responsibilities include: Management of the existing back-book of products to ensure all products perform in line with customer expectations and product governance metrics Supporting the delivery of good customer outcomes for vulnerable and non-vulnerable customers, through adherence to business processes, procedures and relevant regulations relevant Supporting product development, change and implementation initiatives of products Supporting the design of new products (& product change initiatives) with the customer in mind and the channels that they will be sold/serviced through Ensure when product change is done it considers and improves upon the end to end customer journey and provides good customer outcomes. Lead and drive through the delivery of initiatives to deliver product strategy, improve product performance, grow customer value and reduce business risk Maintain clear line of sight to thematic reviews and outcome testing within Service Operations on new products / product variations. Ensure that the product service delivery continues to meet reasonable customer expectation with clear identification of improvements, and to reduce complaints and rejected claims Support initiatives to continually reduce complexity and improve customer outcomes Provide product related support to the sales centres, digital, marketing and retention teams to ensure products are understood and fit for purpose for these areas to achieve their objectives Collaborate closely with HCM and the Network to ensure product design (including terms and conditions) fit with organisation capabilities and that the products are delivered consistently and in line with product design Work closely with all stakeholders (internal and external) to ensure any development, change or initiative is in line with business need, capability and is made with appropriate agreement. Ensure all products comply with FCA guidelines and regulations including any changes or amendments About You To be successful in this role you will need to have the following knowledge, skills, and attributes: Essential: Experience of working in a Marketing / Product related role Experience of working in a regulated Financial Services business Experience in delivering projects / initiatives Experience of written report writing Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across various teams Proven track record working in a fast paced, consumer facing organisation in the Financial Services sector Ability to analyse complex information/data and produce relevant reports for Senior Management including Executive team Organisation and prioritisation skills with ability to facilitate meetings and working on own initiative About Us Not Specified
