A relief full-time opportunity exists for a Mental Health and Substance Use (MHSU) Crisis Response Clinician | RCMP Liaison to join the welcoming Mental Health Substance Use team at the Rocky Mountain Lodge in Cranbrook, B.C. This relief position is until the return of the incumbent.

Who are we looking for?
We seek a self-directed candidate with counselling experience, group facilitation skills, and good knowledge in Mental Health & Substance Use, including concurrent disorders. The candidate should have an understanding of the physical, psychological, social, and spiritual needs of clients, families, and communities, with particular knowledge of Indigenous communities and resources in the Kootenay areas.

What will you work on?
The Clinician functions as part of the Hospitals & Communities Integrated Services (HCIS) team and a multidisciplinary MHSU team, providing assessment, treatment, service coordination, and urgent response for complex clients, often with co-occurring disorders and functional impairments across various life domains.
The Clinician utilizes specialized treatment modalities for individuals, groups, and families.
Scheduling Information:
Shift times are from 08:30 to 16:30 hours.
