Mylar Specialty Films (Formerly Dupont Teijin Films) is a leading global producer of PET and PEN polyester films specialising in film products and related services for markets and industries including Durable Cards, Electrical Insulation, Flexible Electronics, Healthcare, Imaging Media, Labels, Packaging, Photovoltaics and many more. Mylar Specialty Films is a 50/50 Joint Venture between Celanese Corporation and Teijin Limited. The business has approximately 2000 employees worldwide with manufacturing sites in Asia Pacific, America, and Europe.

The role is a UK or Luxembourg based account manager covering sales territory in Germany. The account management role focuses on three main areas: account planning and management, sales pipeline development, and value capture.

Responsibilities:

* The account manager is the primary commercial contact for new and existing customers in Germany, building and growing relationships across functions and seniority levels within key customers.
* Meet and exceed sales targets aligned with global and regional business strategies.
* Identify and deliver new business opportunities at new or existing customers.
* Develop close working relationships with the customer service team and other cross-functional teams within Mylar Specialty Films.
* Implement specific actions to enhance profitability in line with global and regional strategies.
* Manage an 18-month rolling sales forecast for assigned accounts.
* Work with the customer service team to ensure cash receivables are managed effectively.
* Develop and execute strategic account plans (key account plan).

Qualifications:

* Over 5 years of proven experience in account management within the technical films, plastics, or similar industry.
* Strong account management and relationship-building skills.
* Willingness and ability to travel 30%-60% domestically or within the EMEA region.
* Fluent in English; German language skills are a strong advantage.
* Solution-focused approach with strong written and spoken communication skills.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and customers simultaneously.
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently.
* Strategic thinking with the ability to anticipate and address customer needs.
* Team player with a collaborative approach.
* Culturally aware and effective in a global setting.
* Proactive, with the ability to identify opportunities and take initiative.
