What you’ll do on a typical day:
Assist the Engineering manager to ensure all contractual obligations are carried out fully, successfully and with the minimum disruption.
* Monitoring/maintenance of large industrial ammonia refrigeration plants, ensuring that it is available and maintained to optimum performance levels at all times
* Planned and reactive plumbing and drainage maintenance
* Electrical testing and fault finding
What you need to succeed at GXO:
Engineering qualification such City & Guilds, NVQ level 3 is essential
* Strong mechanical/electrical skills, ideally electrically biased
* 18th Edition wiring is essential
