Monday to Thursday 8am – 4pm
Friday 8am – 3:30pm

About the Role
We are looking for an Equipment Technician to join our established Fleet and Equipment Team in Charminster. This role ensures operational equipment is maintained and ready for use by operational firefighting crews. Full training will be provided on equipment such as ladders, Holmatro equipment, portable water pumps and ventilation fans. If you have a background in engineering or working on plant or gardening machinery, this may be a great role for you.
Responsibilities
* Inspect, test, maintain and repair a wide range of equipment, ensuring work meets required standards.
* Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers to diagnose and rectify defects.
* Proactively support the delivery of all vehicle workshop health and safety policies and procedures.
Ideal Candidate
* Fulfil all essential requirements of the role.
* Have experience in inspection, testing, maintenance and repair of equipment.
* Maintain accurate electronic records and update systems.
* Have excellent communication and time‑management skills.
* Can follow processes and interpret technical manuals.
