What You’ll Be Doing
 * The role will be purchase ledger centred and will include elements of Sales ledger and credit control
 * New customer and supplier set up on accounting systems
 * Generating invoices and entering payments
 * Dealing with invoice queries
 * Reconciling supplier statements
 * Data entry of financial spreadsheets
 * Managing departmental inbox and filing systems
 * Bank and credit card reconciliations
 * Ad hoc payments and bank activity
 * Supporting purchase order processing and internal approvals
 * Administrative support within finance team and to the Directors
 * General office cover for holidays and absence
 * Payroll processing (optional)
What We’re Looking For
 * Full/partly AAT qualified or qualified by experience
 * Dynamic and enquiring mind
 * Enthusiastic attitude
 * Sales ledger, purchase ledger and credit control experience
 * Strong IT skills, especially Outlook, Excel, Word
 * Organised with excellent attention to detail
 * Ability to work under pressure and multitask
 * Good communication skills
Key information
Salary: £26,000 to £27,500 Pro Rata
Hours: Tuesday to Thursday – up to 24 hours per week – Flexible or Full-time opportunities can be discussed.
Reporting to: Finance Manager
Holiday: Pro Rata 28 days per year (including Bank Holidays). Plus enhanced benefit for long-service.
