Job ref: S/05/26 Job type: Permanent Location: Cloonavin Salary: PO9 (SCP 50-53) £62,637 - £66,243 per annum Quantity of Posts Available: One Closing date: Monday 16 Feb 2026 16:00 Job summary Provide strategic leadership for the Council's digital agenda, ensuring the effective, efficient, and secure delivery of information technology services that enable and support organisational objectives. Oversee the strategic and operational management of the Digital Services function, ensuring technology initiatives are fully aligned with the Corporate Strategy and that systems remain secure, stable, and resilient. Work collaboratively with the Senior Management Team to inform technology-related decisions contributing to shaping the Council's overall strategic direction. Lead the delivery of comprehensive ICT services across the organisation, driving the adoption of modern, secure, and robust technology solutions that enhance user experience and organisational performance Ensure that the department complies with all statutory and legislative requirements by adhering to these requirements and working in accordance with good governance and health and safety requirements. Ensure that all responsibilities are carried out in a timely and effective manner and that general confidentiality is maintained in all areas relating to the work of the Council.
