Salary: £30,000 – £50,000 (dependent on experience)

A specialist independent SEMH school in Stoke is seeking a resilient, skilled, and adaptable teacher to join their growing team. With small class sizes and two sites, this role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic, varied environment and can build strong, consistent relationships with pupils presenting challenging behaviour.

Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons across KS2–KS3
* Create a structured, nurturing learning environment tailored to SEMH learners
* Use behaviour strategies consistently to support regulation and positive routines
* Track and monitor academic and pastoral progress
* Work collaboratively with support staff and the wider multidisciplinary team
* Contribute to whole-school routines across both sites
What We’re Looking For
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
* Strong classroom management skills and confidence handling challenging behaviour
* Flexible, calm, and adaptable approach to a fast-changing environment
* Ability to plan clearly, deliver effectively, and maintain high expectations
* Passion for supporting vulnerable learners and improving life outcomes
* Self-driven, reflective, and committed to continuous improvement
